Bombardier Report: Leading The Way
business jet market drivers
A business case created by Bombardier for a Midwestern U.S. frm showed that use of a super midsize business jet saved 20% of management’s total time, when compared with the scheduled airline alternative.
In addition to the time savings and productivity benefts of using a business jet, there are other less quantifable but equally important benefts. These include on-demand fight schedules, the ability to conduct business
conversations in private during fights, access to more airports located closer to fnal destination, (which may not be served by a scheduled airline), and reduced stress on the company’s travelers. Bombardier believes that unwarranted negative perceptions regarding business jets (in certain regions) will no longer be an issue once the market fully re-assesses the positive benefts offered by business aviation. The Forecast accounts for the impact of this short-term issue through its effect on sales of new and used aircraft throughout 2009.
